The Rule of Life
02 — THE COVENANT
Every member signs it.
A written standard of how a man agrees to live while he is here. It is a condition of membership, not an aspiration.

Jesus Christ is King.
He is Lord over every part of my life — my work, my marriage, my body, and my time. I do not come here to negotiate that.

He died on the cross and rose three days later.
The gospel is not a metaphor. It is the actual event by which sin is forgiven, death is defeated, and a man is made new.

Marriage is between one man and one woman.
I uphold the biblical design for marriage and sexuality. I do not use this room to promote or practice anything else.

There are two sexes, assigned at birth.
Male and female are not constructs to be revised. They are gifts to be received, stewarded, and honored.

Life begins at conception.
Every human life bears the image of God from the moment it begins. I will live and speak as though that is true.

I will tell the truth here.
Not a curated version of my life. What is actually happening, to the men who have earned the right to hear it.

I will keep what is said here.
Confidence is absolute. What a man says in this building does not leave it.

Presence is the practice. I come when it is convenient and I come when it is not.

Faithful in body, in attention, and in money. What I am here is what I am at home.

My work, my health, my commitments, my repentance. No one here carries it for me.

No alcohol, no contempt, no crude talk about women, no business run on another member. The room stays worth entering.

Charter members hold $450 a month for as long as membership is continuous. Dues rise for members who join after the charter class closes.

05 — QUESTIONS
Who is this for?
Christian men who want a serious place to train, work, think, and be known — and who are willing to sign a written standard to be in the room. Most members are between 25 and 60, married or intending to be, and carrying more than they talk about.
Do I have to be a Christian?
Yes. This is a club for Christian men and the covenant assumes it. You do not have to be a mature one, a certain one, or a comfortable one. You do have to be honest about where you stand.
What happens if I break the covenant?
You are approached privately, by name, by a man who knows you. Most of what happens next is repair, not removal. Repeated, unrepentant violations — especially anything that makes the room unsafe for other men — end the membership.
Is my wife allowed in the building?
Yes, for events, meetings, and by invitation. Day-to-day, the floor and the lounge are for members, because confidentiality is what makes the room work. Nothing here is hidden from her.
Can I visit first?
Yes. Apply, and you will be invited in to see the space and meet a few members before anyone asks you for money.
